SEE&SHOOT®

UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY FOR FOUNDATION STABILISATION WITH TARGETED INJECTIONS OF EXPANDING RESINS.

This method of foundation stabilization, protected by an exclusive GEOSEC® European patent, has been engineered to address differential foundation subsidence. It operates in a non-invasive, expedited, and precise manner, leveraging integrated geophysical soil control systems. This provides a robust solution for combating soil instability and ensuring structural integrity. Unique in its approach, it’s backed by respected technical certifications and supported by a 10-year insurance backed warranty, providing extra assurance in the quality and longevity of the work.

SEE&SHOOT® method: What We Do

GEOSEC’s foundation stabilization procedure employs expansive resin injections at both surface level and at depth (as far as 15m) across several overlying strata. Our goal is to uniformly consolidate the soil bearing the structure’s load, thereby rectifying differential subsidence.
Before carrying out injections, our technicians conduct geophysical investigations and geotechnical testing directly on the site to guarantee optimal operating conditions.
Mindful of underground utilities and structures, we execute a series of boreholes (20-30mm in diameter). These are strategically placed horizontally and vertically below the footprint of the subsided foundation, maintaining an average distance of 0.5 – 1.5 metres between their centres.
We continually monitor the process using 4D geophysical investigations BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER treatment. By incorporating additional penetrometer testing during the process, we can verify real-time improvements to the treated soil. Consequently, we can swiftly adjust the injection plan as needed (modifying resin quantities, treating additional volumes, etc.), ensuring precise and optimal consolidation of the foundations.
This comprehensive approach not only rectifies the problem areas but also contributes to the overall stability of the structure by maintaining uniformity in untreated areas, thus enhancing overall building stability.

The importance of soil tomography BEFORE, DURING and AFTER foundation consolidation work

Would you opt for surgery without a thorough diagnosis? Would you feel more comfortable knowing the procedure is precise and focused? Wouldn’t the confirmation of successful results through comprehensive and accurate tests be essential?
When it comes to foundation consolidation, these questions embody the GEOSEC® philosophy.
Over the years, our experience and expertise have shaped this approach into a benchmark methodology.
Electrical resistivity tomography is the technique par excellence. It allows us to detect voids, cavities, and water in the ground in a 3D manner, eliminating the need for disruptive excavations.
Importantly, it can be applied where other tests can’t be performed. Furthermore, the resistivity tomography used in the GEOSEC® method allows us to define the injection project and then monitor what is happening during the procedure, thus guaranteeing better treatment uniformity.
This is why GEOSEC® solutions aren’t merely “another option,” but distinctly stand out among the alternatives in the market. Our approach goes beyond treating symptoms; we diagnose, target, and verify – offering a comprehensive, smart solution to foundation issues.

MAXIMA® Resin

MAXIMA® is the exclusive GEOSEC® geopolymer, periodically tested and certified by authorized laboratories, which provides top quality performance, perfect stability over time and is compliant with current European and British standards on environmental protection and occupational health and hygiene. It has been designed specifically for foundation consolidation using expanding resin injections to contrast differential subsidence in a targeted manner. MAXIMA® expanding resin is produced exclusively by prestigious multinationals in the industrial chemical sector to meet the technical specifications dictated by the experience of the GEOSEC® team.
